The new year started off with a bang and a commitment...a commitment to blog more! The last deeply, depressing post will remain on the site as a reminder of tough times and the progress that made since May 2007.
Whew! A lot has happened. I'll sum up 2007 briefly...we finished building our house, didn't buy it, continued adoption process, were chosen by a birth mom, birth mom decided to keep the baby, found another house in east hill, deal fell through, found a house in wood run, moved in, Michael lost 15-20 pounds from "mystery stomach bug", threw Michael's parents a 40th anniversary party, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Michael has colonoscopy to rule out cancer, Michael has Crohn's disease, New Year!
Not a tremendous amount of witty banter laced with the facts this time folks. 2007 served up a life sundae with two extra scoops of rocky road. With the love of our friends and family, we made it! 2008 and I are going to besties! I'll post tomorrow about the amazing vacation we took this past week and add updates photos!

you are funny. only you could some up a year like that. i havent been here in quite a while. i used to come by some, but there were never any new posts, so i kinda stopped. well, now i cant sleep, so i decided to check it out, and what do i find?? some more posts. yea!! your blog about ava's valentines is too funny!!
