I can't cry anymore...

As if AvaGrace turning five wasn't difficult enough this week...she also graduated from pre-k!!

Ava's fan club...again!

Loves her daddy!!

And her big brother!

Easy Bake Oven part 1

Every little girl needs an easy bake oven, and I have been waiting ten years to gift one of my children with one! I spent thirty minutes at Target trying to decide which cake packets to buy. Chocolate, yellow, sugar cookie...the selection was endless. So, I did what any mother would do and bought one of each! I had visions of hours of easy bake fun! I managed to forget the most important part of the e.b. oven...the dang light bulb! Tip time: Easy Bakes don't use energy efficient twisty bulbs! WE only use energy efficient twisty bulbs!
There is nothing more pitiful then giving an easy bake and every flavor of cake mix to a five year old and then telling her she has to wait for daddy to go buy a light bulb!!
Of course we documented the first batch made, enjoy!

Happy 5th Birthday!!

My sweet, baby changed from a toddler to a big girl this week! I've spent most of the evenings weepy the past few days. I don't have a baby anymore...I ahve two children that are independent and don't need me as much as they once did.

Cassie, Uncle Graham and the birthday girl!

PopPop, Mimi and Brother!

Blowing out the candle!

We surprised Cassie with a mini birthday cake. Her birthday is on the 19th...she's growing on me. I even think I like her...sshhh!

Fashion Show

I tried to get fancy and do a slide show...guess what...can't figure it out!

This is what happens when you tell the kids "no tv"...they have a mr. potato fashion show!

Canada Dry

Bubbly beverage or shampoo/water substitute? You decide.

For those of you in the dark...My water was off today (I paid my bill) and I was forced to wash my hair with diet ginger ale. I had a meeting and God has blessed me with a nappy fro, forcing me to wash it before ever leaving the house. I was tremendously proud of my McGyver moment. I pulled it together and went to the fridge. My choices were orange powerade, crystal light and diet ginger ale. I managed to pull of a decent hair day, win over a new client and giggle every time I thought of how ridiculous I looked in the shower pouring freezing ginger ale on my head!

Really folks...where is the camera crew? We are way funnier then the Karsashians.
